I really miss the good days where psytrance was a great experience.
I miss great artists...
it is very rare to find a release from those great artists.
what's up with them?
astrix is so late with his album, are there any news?
what's up with Gms ?
Space Cat ? where are the magical projects of avi ?

Better pass in to good new ones, I think psytrance is in urgently need of a generation change.

btw I guess the problem is that the new generation force experienced artists to create sucky music, because the market is flooded with tons shity releases and over compressed music and it cause a silly contest. |

There's lots of quality music out there.
I understand you miss GMS, Astrix etc, but the overall quality of music really doesn't go done without them. |

then why not open a label and buy some tracks off them? im sure they would be more than happy to give you some major discounts since you love them so much.

For me...
all of them are great and big artists...
all of them make a music of full quality... with many psychedelic melodies...
but they are not doing music like was a long time ago.... they are doing music today for win money, not with their spirit...
they make music for pop people... not with their own spirit...!
They don't release a track... or a album, cause they are very busy playing around the world, to win money... to make their names in the midia....
I still like their sounds... but much less as I like a long time ago... |

I don't think they need a label, many labels will be happy to release their music, the question if they have tracks...

believe in nothing and your soul will get very empty sooner or later, you will feel prety much dead.
beauty and health won't last forever, and everything else (music, food, girls, parties, cars, love and whatsoever) give a very temporary happiness, you get used to it and then you get bored of it, pretty fast. |

well I don't miss them at all. all this it calls evolution, if you not keep developping and only repeating the same formula for years is natural they do not release anymore, why should we listen to same boring stuff all the time? that;s why there are artist which keep with the evolution of sound and their talent cause they give about creativity and not about $$$$ like the onces you have mentioned.

EVOLVING WHAT?
all the releases I hear from the new and old artist, sound like they don't put much thinking about the production and mixing, they just write and mix whatever sounds ok...there is no art in that.
I prefer to listen to comercial artists who actually think 10 times about the arrangment/patterns/mixing... |

I heard a lot of new tracks from GMS, but they are not released yet. And i hope they do it soon.
But i really like the style they make now.
It's more groovy, but very LOUD ;-)
With minimal / house / electro influences, but still you can recognize where they come from.
For me they are always one step ahead.
There are always much people who say they only do it for the money...bla bla bla...
But I think it's just evolution, and they love the music they make now the same as the music they made 10 years ago.
