Astrix is Avi Shmailov from Israel, one of the biggest headliners in the trance scene.
He released his debut bestseller album "Eye to eye" (HOMmega) in 2002.
Since then, he is constantly touring the world, performing in massive parties
and international festivals promoting his unique sound and style.
After a year and a half of work, Astrix finished his last touches on his brand
new second album – "Artcore". This album approaches a wider audience
with various styles of Trance: psychedelic, uplifting, rock'ish and ambient.
It is a mature album with a high level of production.
The album includes a collaboration track with Israel's leading trance act – Infected Mushroom!

Eyal , I want to clear something...
Yesterday I saw & heard Guy Salama show and there Infected Mushroom played tune that they create with Astrix , the tune called " Vision " , but on Artcore album there is one track with Infected Mushroom that called Monster - so my question is if there 1 or 2 tracks by IM & Astrix ? |

I sure it gonna be the best release of the last years !
Two years past from Astrix first album and it still playing around the dance floors in the world !
I think Avi is the man who bring us the offical full - on style and he is the one that do it the best , so I wish you good luck Avi & Hommega - u the best !

well, another question about that Infected Astrix track.
I heard a track on an Astrix set which was a trute blaster, and i was told by many ppl it is the Infected Astrix tune.
but its totally diffrent from the "Monster Remix" I heard.
Anyway, Ill probably buy this album cause of the ambient tune.

hey guys,
i think its finally there the best album of the year ...the empire strikes back !!!
every track he made is something special and hit the dancefloor indeed ... for me is astrix one of the trance legends
cant wait to order this album !!!
