This I got to agree with. No matter if they have released so many simular tracks, they still managed to create "real" trance in their music (state of mind, the flow) But I also must agree with Troll. But I will not agree with my self since I only know three albums by heart. *shoots him self in the leg*

When people get into psytrance they immidiately get Astral Projection or Infected Mushroom. That is like a given. I know so many people who have gotten into trance recently and they started off with these two bands.
Mahadeva is one of my favourite tracks. |

So this is so common I guess... I think all my trancing generation started off with Astral Projection! It's still giving me goosebump anytime I hear their sound! That includes their new track 'Open Society' !!
I'm not too fan of these loooooong talkative samples, though. Especially if it's political like this one, but hey, you can trance and think at the same time, can't you?
Looking forward to the new album!

by the way, I recommand the lates album by Braincell called 'Universal Language'. The vibe is often quite similar to Astral Projection's IMO. The great old school goa vibe, with beautiful melodies and trippy background.  |

I must to say the new track of Astral Projection : "open society" is not good than old releases, i think is the most bad, and no feeling track of astral. that is the truth! and all the compilation by Astral "Back To Galaxy-Compiled by Astral Projection" is sucks, is the same boring new style u know!
I Hope the new forthcoming Album of Astral Projection will be Verry good...and they must give us the same feeling than old times... |

AP tracks were the right sound for that golden time in the trance history. Time, life, society, everything was a little bit slower than today, calmer, easier. That`s why so many people feel nostalgic about their tracks. It was so different from, say, today`s Inf Mush - which is good for today`s generation (and for some old timers as well).
Like most of you, I also hope that their new album bring some good vibes to our souls. I learned to love trance when I listened to Dancing Galaxy, loved it from the cover!
Let`s hope they have kept being the same. |

Whats your favourite album of Astral Projection?
for me is verry difficult to choose. i think all albums is verry verry verry good except the album "Ten" i rated 80%! |
