Yes, Astral Projection Are The Best Goa Artists, & MFG are the best Goa Artists After Astral Projection.
As much as I love their classic Tracks, Their Best Work Is "The Prophecy" - this track is what trance is all about. Quality Full On with pure Goa spirit. Gets me high every time.
Although They Recorded a track With Zahava Ben and "Knesiat Hasehel". and recently released the EP "Joy" With Roy Sela, they Staid True to their Music and did not take the commercial Music for Kids way like Infected Mushroom.

Exactly I love Astral Projection's old tracks and also do see them as an essential part of the old scene and a huge influence for later arriving artists. But my problem with the "They are the best forever etc." statements is that there were so many other amazing artists contributing in equal ways. Yet they seem to be long forgotten or ignored while a small handful get all the recognition. That's to me is a shame as the true History of the scene has so much more to offer.

Back in those days a track was not accessible by a double click on your computer, you put effort in to acquiring cd's and vinyls. I remember spending at least 2 hours a week in my local electronic music provider, just listening to the big pile of stuff he had just got from the distributer.
Today you skip through a track in 25 seconds and decide if it's good or not, sad but true. I can not remember the last time I went through a cd from start to end (except the latest booka shade).
I lost my thin red line, but yeah Astral Projection were the shit back then (but mfg was not far away imo)
