When it comes to euphoric Goa Trance nobody can touch their anthems:

Actually at some parts it sounds cheap to me.
I think Goa Trance can be euphoric in many ways, not only in the AP-way.
But I am happy you are enjoying AP

no question about this...they where the heros of goa trance...at least for me they will always remain as the reason why i started to listen this music.

tracks like Ppl can fly, dancing galaxy, mahadeva are just second to none

thats just the shit you wanna listen on a beach in goa...nothing else

Blue Planet Corporation - Antidote [Pleiadians RMX]

For me, this track is a bomb, such a good progression

All great tracks, Mahadeva is a favorite, but People Can Fly, Let there be Light, Enlightened Evolution and Dancing Galaxy also rocks. Butterfly Trip also brings good memories of good things that once were, but are not anymore.
Respect!           .

I'm not saying that AP isn't influential or that some of their tracks aren't classics, but I feel that they have fucked over their own name with their atrocious reputation for fake live acts.

Also, when I go back through nostalgia land and listen to old goa I never pick these guys - for me the songs don't resonate as much as they used to, but the two Hallucinogen albums are still as fresh as the day I first discovered them. The fake live probably has something to do with it though, I'm very sensitive to things like that - like with IM, I was a rabid fan for years but when they sold out I pretty much instantly never listened to them again, even though their early material was some of my most cherished stuff

people can fly was one of the very first tracks i remember hearing... i heard it about 15 years ago and everytime i hear the part "when you dream, there are no rules... people can fly, anything can happen..." i just halt and get entranced - and then - "you may think you can fly - but you better not try" and the melody kicks in - i get goosebumps allover my body no matter where when and how i listen to that track (mind you that the first time i heard it i was 12-13).. very few tracks still do this to me. why oh why cant astral do what they did so well? i dont care how bad their live is (and ive seen it, its really bad!) - they are still for me one of the founding fathers of trance music and for sure the masters of melodic emotional goa trance

Astral Projection are legends for this scene and with a good reason, they were years ahead of their time and tracks like Power Gen, People Can Fly, Mahadeva, Kabalah and many more can still destroy any dancefloor. They belong to a very special and closed club of legendary artists like Hallucinogen and Man With No Name who shaped the music for a whole generation.

I dont care if they start producing music for talent shows or if they appear on the next Pimp My Ride episode, they are still and will always remain legends for me.

Respect to the pioneers.

P.S Listening to Man With No Name album Interstate Highway, what a gem.....           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!
