could it be "We were flying along an A-22 bomber very much like this one, and we're coming south through Florida, and uh, we're just about the same altitude, I think about a thousand feet above the ground, when [some name] in the back of the airplane reported that we had a bright light coming down toward the aircraft behind us"?
somewhere in the middle of the track there's also:
"we shall [..] and pull up alongside, see what the hell this thing is" |

I've been listening to this track recently, so I thought I would offer my thoughts on the correct text if anyone is still interested!
"We were flying along in a twin engine bomber very much like this one, and we're coming south through Florida and we're just about the same altitude, maybe about a thousand feet above the ground, when some people who had been in the back of the airplane reported that we had a bright light coming down toward the aircraft behind us."
