its a bass with little low end... but thats the idea old school stuff... anyways... its not different from any other fullon bass but the eq.

sawtooth with a good envellope, probably quadrafuzz on it... very common.... there is also probably a transient designer used on it.. this bass has a lot of attack.. or maybe its just the envellope of the synth....

I advice the es1 you might get something close...

although there is litlle low end, I think its a killer bass and killer track.

Astral projection are known for using hardware synth a lot. but I wouldn't be suprised if that was done with a softsynth.

the bassline sounds very metallic...and unique

i think it's vb1 with some kind effect and eq ofcourse........or 2 different bass synth.
you can use vb1 samples with absynth3 as sampler +pipe effect from absynth3 + eq.........and tweak the envelope.

also you can use usual fullon bass presets + eq + quadrafuzz+ METALIZER from cubase.

the prophecy amazing track....

Great Track           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

yeah nice track!
Experimentation is the best way to figure out something.

could very well be Vb1 with the pick up moved up a bit... i think that you can come close with vb1

ohh and do experiment with
Shape and damper too

AP usually uses real analog stuff, not software synths, thats why their music sound better than most others...

As far as I know they used Steinberg VB1 for bass in the majority of their tracks. That's software my friend
