Do you really think people would make stuff like this up about one of the most respected Psytrance acts there has ever been? Of course my comments are only valid if the first post is true; if the promoter, band or anyone who was at this event wants to tell me this isn't what happened (preferably with photographic proof) then I would be very glad indeed to retract everything I've said and make a full apology. Until then, and given the testimony of other people who have seen similar things at their other recent gigs, I stand by what I said. It's not a question of 'beating artists' either - why should I want to do that when I'm one myself?
It's a question of trying to make sure people like YOU (and me) aren't dicked around (whether we realise it or not) by the people we pay to see perform.

Hey,
we asked astral in 2003 for a party in Belgium.
I don't know what is true about this story, but i just want to say that not all is bad about these guys. When they came to our party they where very friendly.
We went out to diner with them, and had a great time.
They played a very nice live act, and it was 'live' becouse I did monitoring.

as a promoter from israel i know that there is many artists with very good and profesional live acts.... in my partys that kind of stuff never happend......
shame on astral that they behave in this way....its make bad name for israeli djs....and i promiss you all that most of the israeli djs dont behave in this way..BIG SHAME on astral!!

BUT... this days i balive 80% of so called "live ect"
it trance scene are bullshit.. and u all know that.
so whats the big fuss... why dont u bitch on an

hmmmm huda bro im also agree and also disagree with you...
there is artists that bring the laptop put play and thats it....this is not live act...but..you can bring to it 2 sinti and 2 efects and to get more cloase to true live act.
and ofcourse to bring instruments and spcial efects and more... enything is posible.. and its not 80-20 i tthink its 50-50

and if they asked for so much stuff on stage, they had to at least have the decency to turn a knob!
even if it is a tweak here and a tweak there, they didnt weak a thing, playing from an iPod?!
they shouldnt have asked for all that equipment, the organizer wasted money on the stuff, plus on them!
because even if he didnt pay for the live, he did pay for transportation, food, hotel etc.
this is just wrong, and saying that a LIVE is utter bullshit, is just stupid.
have you ever done a live act? its not that easy as you make it look...
so anyway, i say we leave this shit behind, no one is gonna make a difference, people are still gonna buy commercial cd's, and go to fake LIVE acts, so what is this about?
13 pages about nothing.
the only change you can do, is do a live yourself, and show to everyone that a live isnt bullshit, and that you respect the audience.

i seyd a very simple thing basicly..
that meny of the live ects i heard
and i did see and listhen to a big amount
of live ects in allmost 7 years of raving
and playing, are no more then
pleyng a wav from a sequenser
eding some non relevant loops and some sounds
and what i seyd is based on what
i see and hear.. and not on speculations and asamptions...
indeed,some of the artists making live ects
are working hard on it and making it more
closer to what u cen call "live"
eding colors and sweetness to their original music
and making the live ect difrent and more
alive and originaly.
all so..
whats the difrence between 2 guys that asked
for allot of geer and dont use it
and 2 guys asking for allot of geer and
dont do with it so much that it really maks a difrent??
