Just went to see a live act from Japanese Asteca (El Dorado Sounds)... OMG just sonic madness! If u like music that pushes the borders of weirdness and madness outwards and u get to see this act... then don't hesitate! But its not for the weak hearted! 
I had never heard of asteca before, so I went with no expectations what so ever and just a very positive surprise, I wonder why there doesn't seem to be releases available? Maybe in the future? A lot organic sounds are used, from old Japanese music to water dripping and opera singing, I really can't describe it well enough. Maybe other people who have heard it might have a good way of doing so?
But none the less a very very nice guy making some very nice music!  |
