i know that it can be very confusing when you, let's say, read some tutorial posted by someone on this forum and you get stuck reading and rereading a sentance because you don't understand some of the technical terms in it.
Here is a really nice list of audio terminology that will explain some of the abbreviations that you will come across in the world of music production.
