hi ive installed asio drivers and chose the same under audio settings in fl studio and supported it with my audio interface focusrite scarlet 2i4.

however the problem is that i cannot reach the control panel of the asio4all to change the buffer settings.

ive checked to c if asio4all is installed and it is rightly so.

any idea what could be the issue or what wrong am i doing?

thanks

Usually it goes like this,

1.) Install Asio driver

2.) Open FL Studio and choose Asio4all in ur audio settings.

3.) After selected, it should display an icon in your taskbar right bottom corner. (if ur using windows)

4.) Double click on the icon and the Asio window will open,,, I think ;-)

ASIO4ALL is a generic ASIO driver that supports almost all audio interfaces, even those which don't have an ASIO driver of their own. It's not actually anything to do with the ASIO driver that comes with your soundcard. In FL you need to make sure you have the Focusrite ASIO driver selected, not ASIO4ALL (it sounds like you've done this from your first post anyway).

If you're using a PC, check the Control Panel, there may be an item in there that takes you to the control panel for the Scarlett ASIO driver.

I don't use either FL or a Focusrite interface so I'm sorry I can't be of more specific help!           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

hey colin! i have tried selecting both options. i can see the option of the focusrite drivers in order to use the same but somehow i was not able to get the asio4all to link up to my control panel when i chose that.

problem has been solved.... it was a silly thing by the end of the day on my part... hehe

thanks for all the help

Maybe this is part of what you've already worked out, but you can't use the ASIO4ALL control panel when you've selected the Focusrite ASIO drivers in FL because ASIO4ALL is not connected to anything at that point. You either use ASIO4ALL or the Focusrite ASIO drivers, but not both.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
