in sx 3, the vst instruments make no sound.
in the "device setup" it says NO VALID ASIO DRIVER.
i have tried downloading an asio driver but it doesnt work.
is the asio driver problem really what makes the disconnection n how can i fix it? or is it something else?

hmm i dont know if it helps but FL uses ASIO4ALL, wich is a very handy ASIO driver. you can download it here: http://www.asio4all.com/
i dont know sx3 very good but there are audio option which you can edit the soundcard input or something like that.
There you change to asio4all when you've installed it! |

it says it cant b found.

do u use an external or pci sound card & which one ?
does it have asio drivers? if yes did you try reinstall them ?

some more information would be required for resolving this issue ...
reminds a bit to users calling on the phone and say "it doesn't work" 
can you select any other driver (DX) beside ASIO?

the software didnt recognise any asio driver at all. the problem was with my cubase.
i got a new one with the same problem only this time the asio4all worked.
@realtime, did i say "my cubase doesnt work"?
