can you use this as a replacement driver for regular commercial sound cards?
i ask because my girlfriend had a computer crash and windows couldnt find her soundcard drivers. we couldnt find them online. it doesnt seem to be supported.
edit: she is a few hundred miles away at the moment and i cant test it out. any information on installing asio4all so she can use winamp, browse the net with sound, use windows with sound, etc will help. thanks The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

Its very buggy in my setup (Terratec DMX6 Fire) i use the terratec asio drivers, ASIO4all crashes my Cubase constantly with the result of a blue screen when i terminate the cubasesx process: hopeless. Other then that i've had positive results with the asio4all drivers in the past. |

Hmm.. I might have to try that. I use the ASIO 4 ALL when I'm too lazy to plug in my soundcard. Haven't had any major issues with it so far and its great if you aren't recording anything into your computer.
