hey, does anyone know if there is a way to use your computer keyboard as a imput keyboard in cubase?
i tried searching the forum, and the manual, but couldn't find anything...
or if there is no function, does anyone know of a plugin VST, etc to make this work?

I have something like that at work, a freeware standalone app I can post tomorrow, but I'm curious if it will interfere with Cubase, as there are so many key commands assigned to keys.
I guess if it is a separate application you have open in front of cubase it shouldn't be an issue. If you don't want to wait, google for something similar, the one I have at work is some freeware thing I found to sound out melodies when I'm at work away from my studio.
Search for "free midi keyboard" or something.
