Hey there, I've recently taken a swing from producing hard techno and am now sliding into doing psytrance and goa. All my current work isn't finished yet, the mastering is taking for ever. But please listen to my track: "Happy Place" which is an 'inbetween' track as I do the switch thing! www.mp3.com/apsilum
Feel free to fry my arse in criticisms. |

Chaotic opening - kicks in strong, but it's not harmonic, everything sounds random. Doesn't seem to go forward - the track is too static and dominated by leads from early on. The sound is messy (mastering should take care of this, but definately a lot of work needed to bring this to a good "clean" production). A lot of elements get killed in the noise by all of the flangers, the volumes of elements are just wrong - causing soudns to "overlap".
In short - a lot of work needed here. You seem to trust your mind above your ear - which is a good quality - but remember, if it doesn't sound perfect, you can always change it until it does.

Thanx, I know what you're saying, it's very "dirty". That was a track I did just as a test, From my side of things when I compare it to what I'm doing now you can expect alot better in the future.
