Had one for a year. Wasn't a big fan. I found it was rather limited and the pots n sliders ended up falling apart easily. Poorly made like modern Behringer gear.

Definitely wouldn't spend the cash on a Matrixbrute. I have tried it a few times inshore and it feels like it has been made very cheaply. I could almost pull the knobs & sliders off without really trying. for almost $3000 Australian I can get the 16 voice Rev2 instead.

Anyway yeah Arturia just make cheap product that sound good but break easy, and once they release a synth they never both updating or providing any customer service.

Very much a buyer beware brand.

Get the new Roland SH101 reissue. Sure it's a digital remake but it's built like a tank, sounds really nice compared to any software remakes & is perfect for adding classic trance sounds to any style.           Cuntus Maximus.
