Money better spent elsewhere, though I have to say - if their EQ and bitcrusher are any good, this may be quite an FX box as well. I'd rather just hear some in-depth reviews first.

Well, if noone knew that Arturia developes VST plug-ins, and this device just suddenly appeared on the market, would you complain on the price?

Imho, the price is quite relevant: several awesome synths in one box, all of them sound great, don't require CPU power etc...

All the VA synths are software stuff in a box, aren't they?

I tried that unit about 1-2 months ago when the arturia guys came to my store...

I must say I wasnt really impressed...

the things sounds ok, but I dont think its worth the price tag...

the only cool thing, is the "modular" capabilities, you can mix modules from their "original" synths (moog, prophet, cs80..etc)

that mean you can create some really cool patch and effects...

the sound engine sounded good, the machine itself is very well built and feel good...

anyway, if I was too spend that much money on a VA, I would just get a virus...

I played with this synth briefly at the NAMM show last year.

All I can say is it has some amazing sounds, different from the virus/nord type sounds.

I think it is worth the price tag.

You get all the amazing Arturia emulation software in a hardware synth.

Btw: Analog Factory was a hardware controller from Arturia.

There many better ways that money can be spent. Albeit, it looks very nice.
