its pretty good, wouldnt use it as my only midi to cv but it does the trick, could do with a clock out as you only got gate and if your using it to try and clock a device youll get double hits,,, one trig when on and one trig when off,
Expert sleepers is still the best way in my book

have this one too, surprised at such an excellent build quality, my first Arturia buy and very impressed by this company. Makes the music making process loads of fun.
2 things I felt they missed...
- A display with the note data. Bypassed this problem by running it through a Mutable Instruments Midipal.
- Clock out without a computer. Have yet to work around this one, but have figured if you connect the Beatstep USB to a smartphone that's running a midi clock app, it could work.
Have had this thing since May... this was the first thing I did with it... the whole chain is controlled by the beatstep Midi and CVs.
This was done the initial firmware. Their updated in 1.1 was really impressive, shows that there is possibility for some improvement. Curious to see if they can do a software workaround for the midi clock but not really expecting it.
One update that could be cool would be the ability to overlap notes, would come in handy for something like the xoxbox where it will automatically put the sequence into slide mode.
