Hello,

Anyone using synhs from this package?

I can imagine that the sound is high end...but what about the modulation possibilities for modern psytrance...?

would love some opinions on this.

Looking into the minimoog (modular?)
and the analog factory...maybe the jupiter 8v?

cheers

To me they are too expensive. Also their dacronian DRM is not of my liking.

Check out u-he ACE for analog sound, it also has tons of modulation posibilities. Its more like a little modular synth, it sounds huge and can make very very strange noises. And it cost 69 euros!

I was disappointed with the Analog Factory sound, if I was going to go with an Arturia synth it would be the Moog Modular V (the Minimoog is different from the Modular fyi) The individual synths allow more control than the Factory bundle, the modulation options depend on the plugin and are essentially the same as the hardware they emulate.

If you want a Minimoog there's a few good freeware emulations that I almost would say sound better than the Arturia

I like this one-

But ACE is fun, U-He synths all have great sound that fills the role of classic analogs without trying too hard to BE classic analogs. Zebralette and Tyrell are both free and sound just as good as the other U-He plugs, if you want a taste of the U-He sound I'd highly recommend getting those.

ACE can make some intensely loud sounds, if you're working with it don't crank your gain and I don't recommend headphones
