yes, Dark Soho. Great in the beginning but the last album was limp.

Hujaboy. I'm sorry, I liked the old stuff better. Personal taste.

Cosmosis. His new album had a couple of great tracks, but the rest... eh.

Absolum. Was I just really high back then or has Christoff alsways been this cheesy?

I'm with Rich besides the Christoff note, i like the recent Absolum tunes, and i've heard that Transwave are back working together, so let's wait and see.
I'd add Dado to the list. He releases too much mediocre stuff. He had lots and lots of great tunes but even more mediocre fillers.
Misted Muppet, if they could only stop emulating IM and make tunes with more air. Sometimes less is more.
Sensient made some great tunes, but the album didn't impress me a bit.
Same with Pixel, he started really great with his own style but now he's a part of the Hommega family. He makes great full-on but still, he lost his uniqueness i think. Same goes for Domestic... Remember his Remix to Astral Projection's Flying Into The Star? Or Scotch with Infected Mushroom? Compare it to his newer stuff. He sounds very pale now. And don't get me started on Space Cat. From one of my personal heroes he became a jukebox.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I like Hujaboy's new stuff. He changed styles somewhat, but the tunes are still good.

Joti Sidhu's album was rather uninspired. His old Psychaos stuff is really good.

new X-Dream... Radio is still one of my favorite albums, but since then.. bah.           ..it's just another party..

Psychotic Micro - Do you remember the track "Gravedigger"? I do... What a great track it was... It had an industrial feeling to it, and was hitting really hard...
Then along the way something happened... All their tracks became the same - stupid squeaky noises, reversed kicks, Chemical Crew morning melody and there you have it...
Really disappointing.
Winter Demon - Kind of the same story...

Fungus Funk - Now let me get this clear, FF was and still is prolly my favourite artist in the scene, but what the hell is "La Discotheque" ?! Whats up with that?
Wheres the sickening basslines and mind warping synths?
Also on "Hey Babka" and "Your System Got Crazy" you can hear a more melodic approach and less pure scorching madnass... I hope he'll return to his older style of "Future is Mine" and "High Feelings", and an album would be nice too Ill be first in line

All acts that used to do psychedelic drugs and make psychedelic music, but now stopped.

You know I have to agree with pretty much every artist listed here... My biggest disappointment though...

Azax Syndrom. He had been seduced by the 3D vision bug and gone the route of Absolum... No you weren't that high when you thought Christoff was the shizzy... It's a combination of things. Christoff was doing the darker full-on sound well before many of the artists were even sure what psychedelic trance was. The Wild album is STILL on my active home listening rotation.

Damage... I'm sorry, the Damage album blew chunks. (Sorry Deon) I know that it isn't because James started doing the Broken Toy project, but I really really hope that his new tunes do not sound like anything on his album.

I am starting to notice that the South African sound is getting toward the 3D Vision sound as well.

3D Vision used to be my favorite label. I would buy their compilations before even listening to them online first.... Shortly after Jetlag, I became disenchanted with their sound though. It's partially because my taste in music has changed a bit, but at the same time I don't feel that their direction is as powerful as it used to be.           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Infected Mushroom cos imo they proved their worthiness already with 3 outstanding albums. Now they've done 2 sucky ones in a row..

Noted. But you cant say Converting Vegetarians 'sucked'

IM the Supervisor sucked huge bison balls...

But disc2 on CV is something else! I know too many ppl who judge that album on just disc1.

... it was different. that isnt always bad.

probably oforia - the old stuff was great...groovy & intersting but the new stuff is pretty much the standard banging full on - nothing inspiring - its a pity.

Etnica ...

Alchemist Juggling Under The Blacklight is one of my all time favorite albums... It opened up doors!

But look at what theyve become now!?! Just one in a crowd.

Why do all the early 90's acts HAVE TO reinvent themselves!?!

So I agree with all re:Infected.

* Astrix - he is one of the very best producers but I don't like his today's style.
His album EYE TO EYE is the only trance album (dance) which I consider of excellent quality from the 1st sound till the very last one but today's style is cheesy in my opinion.

* Fatali - Him aswell, the quality is excellent but the style is inmature in my opinion. His 1 st album was better than the 2nd (as a style) the 2nd was better (as quality) but he's missing something.

* Skazi - if only he gets rid off those cray guitars and emphasise on proper psychedelic trance he would be one of the best but right now he's at the very bottom of my list.

* Wrecked machines - some tracks are GREAT but why not all? - They should wait longer & work harder before they relase an album.

* Star.X - (he's a very good friend of mine to start with) - his debut album "Prepare to fly" is a 9 out 10 album and also some singles he released but when we got him to Malta to play he played a totally different style which I did not like at all (sorry Eran) and he said that this is how his future productions will sound like.

That's all for now.
BOM.

I also agree with PAVEL re:Space Cat & with RICH re:COSMOSIS.

& I would also add Talamasca,he has so much energy being wasted.
