Help! I've been out of the trance loop for a while and I want to get some amazing CDs. But I don't know where to start.
I like slow (125 - 140 bpm) and deep and classically psychedelic trance... something like darkish-progressive-Goa.
Two producers I am into now are Sun Control Species and Flooting Grooves. I know they are different sounds but they are great quality production and little bit of edge - without being menacing or hectic.
Could you recommend any great (9/10+) albums that I might have missed over the last few years? |

shadow fx - Direct Influence i think has a sound you might be looking for, and the album mk47 mentioned from solar fields in my opinion has that SCS 2004 sort of feel to it.

Awesome suggestions.... Bush Food and Shadow FX on Zenon records has the type of sound I'm looking for! (Solar Fields sounds a little too cinematic and floaty for what I'm looking for.) I like a little bit of edge, like Chi-A.D. or X-Dream back in the day...
Thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming!

All Minimal Criminal tracks. They're progressive, and they're dark =] |
