Dear all,
We are doing an artist competition, deadline August 15th, Judging by Servellen, Prahlad and ATMA.
Best five tracks to be mastered by Colin OOOD
Winner also receives a cash prize
All winners to be mastered, released and promoted on Cytopia.org.
Artists remain free to use mastered track to send to other labels for possible release there.

Anything psychedelic, can be full on, progressive, ambient, dub, breakbeat;

What a great idea from cytopia, REPSECT!
A quick question Colin, how do u like ur projects from an artist. As artists run out of CPU they start to bounce down their audio. How does this effect the mastering process...

Well, if you bounce your audio in 24 or 32 bits i think there should be no problem

Many good entries already, compliments.
We encourage original work, as mentioned any style that is psychedelic can be entered; so far we received mostly full on.
And we may raise the cash prize soon depending on recent earnings from sales on the site (which are improving alot this month) and may allow for more promotion.
24bit mixdown for mastering preferable yes, but please send only a mp3 @>256kbs as entry, after judging we will ask the 24bit mixdown for mastering.
