Joining an agency is the best thing. Not sure if there are agencies that deal with trance artists. I assume something like that would exist in Israel, but assumption is the mother of all fuck ups, so correct me if I am wrong.
But in techno, anyone who is getting somewhere, at some point, joins an agency and then the agency runs around getting as many gigs for him, upping his profile and status, for a percentage obviously.
Trance is different, releasing on a big label for whatever style someone produces, is the best promotion. After that going to parties and the internet (myspace), are great ways for up and coming artists.
