Well this idea has been on my mind for the past few days...sounds really cool to me..dunno if it is practical..or whether it is already in use world over...but in my opinion it surely is a kickass way to have a blast....
well i was jes thinkin we have soo many parties with a line up of artists...how will it be if we had a party where both artist had a dj booth each...and it was some sort of competition..where one artist plays a couple of tracks and then gives a signal to the other artist to pick it up from there..and it goes on for a while...it mite be a lot of hard work for the artists but damm if i were in the crowd i would go wiiiild 
lemme know if this is practical hehe some mite find it strange and dumb...not a problem everyons got his/her own opinion..jes thought would find out if there were a few people out there who think its a good idea and also if it has happend. if it has please do lemme know which artists had done such a thing...

I've been at a party where it has been done. Dj Rush played "against" Marco Remus. It didn't work out that well, so it ended up with them doing a back to back set instead (it was at metronom club in berlin btw)

i dont htink it wud work out well
i wudnot prefer to go to such a party where theres a bout between djs
in every Dj set a dj should ideally try to tell a story and take the crowd thru a journey
this is not possible by playing two tracks intermittently
At the end there is a DOOR & waiting for you on the other side of that door is either HEAVEN or HELL |

I think it would work out great,
They do it in hip-hop all the time
if you want to go on a journey catch a plane.
Otherwise its all dance-floor oriented music
If you want a journey go and listen to goa Gil he put you on a nice dark journey,
Just imagine like 2 Full on Artists battle each other with thier tracks.. Killleeeeer

ive been to one that had 4 djs. Each had their own booth in each corner of the room. Each booth had a light lit up when that DJ was playing so the crowd knew who was playing.

believe me... I seriously doubt the music would flow at all.
If you want the music to flow... Then find parties where the organisers book less DJ's for longer sets.... preferable max. 2 Dj's
That's your key to a flowing DJ set. Not a hiphop inspired DJ battle |
