I've always Considered Chico Che as the spiritual leader of "Pacheco Movement" which he started and not just that but travel along Mexico with a singular image, his smoking red "chora" wearing glasses "fondo de botella" and overalls.
he and his combo (la crisis) were something really trippy, rumor has it that they had a permit to smoke out and play legally without being bother by pigs. I think is one of the craziest musicians ever and personally enjoy listening.
on the other hand
Rigo Tovar is a Pioneer on what he did, he was incredible high on drugs and alcohol crafting a unique sound that one else were playing. The use of synthesizers along electric guitars and catchy lyrics blend together with cumbia and salsa and bunch other Latin rythms will not only be remembered but never forgoten....
so I say
