This is by far my favorite album to come out in quite awhile, perhaps *:gulp:*, perhaps the best thing since The Lone Deranger. I liked the first album a lot but Artifak II is in a class by itself. When I first heard it I liked it OK, but its grown on me, and continues to. I just hear so much more in this than I do in anything else that is out today (and there is a lot of stuff I like today, there is a lot of creativity going on IMO, but this is just the pinnacle).
What I love about this album is how it sounds rough and irregular, but it is obvious that that roughness and irregularity is carefully designed, because in spite of this, the thing flows beautifully, the harsh sounds are balanced very preciscely with gentle, delicate sounds and the effect is stunning. And there is such a fusion of different styles here-Some dark moments, some techy moments, some fullon moments, some soaring anthem riff moments, some moments from genres of trance yet to be named… and all seamlessly stitched together into one coherent masterpiece. It must sound really silly the way I am gushing about this, but I am really not exaggerating, there just aren’t words to describe how this album affects me. There is nothing I don’t like about it. And I am not associated with Artifakt or Timecode in any way  .

And damn did you hit the nail on the head. I'm loving both albums. Genius and different. A total wicked experience. Both albums rock hard. I love the intro to both albums. And the thank you speach of THE Artifak at Album 1. Totaly wicked and funny. Very smart
My biggest recomandation goes to both albums released by the man him self, Artifakt.

And just for the record the 5th Track is the "Dendron" track (which is in the previous compi of Timecode "Sonic Solutions")
Artifakt is original and i like that..

Groundbreaking albulm....putting the Psy back into the scene....He is a master of weaving obtuse soundscapes.
If you don't have this album....go and buy it..NOW.

I've always been a fan of artifakt, so in a attempt not to sound bias... it rocks the planet. It's so good that I can get my mother to listen to it.
He is a genious. The Album starts out heavy with a non trance track (Artifakt is into break beat aswell). Then on every track flows into each other and just blew me away from start to finish. If you have money, buy it. It's a classic and besutiful! Big up to Artifakt for a killer album.

3 yrs after the last post and I can say that this album is still sounding so incredibly fresh! Plus Mr ARTIFAKT dropped The Magus on us as well in the mean time, interstellar and ground-breaking, quite simply unsurpassed creativity in the field...cannot recommend this artist enough!
