after artifakts last releases on various compils,
which i dont like as much as his older stuff and his first album, im really surprised about "artifakts II".
its excellent.
superb production skill mixed with a genius musician...
ambitious psychedelic music for ambitious psy-lovers.
artifakt doesnt seem to care about other artists and styles.
he is doing completely his own thing.
i love it

This is a nice album, very well done - and some of the tracks are really really, REALLY good. Still overall it turns me off by being maybe a tad too melodramatic. Too much of a ponderous melodic overload for me, a bit like a soundtrack to an old school Hollywood epic - something I can enjoy in parts, but listening to the whole thing all at once feels like trying to run while wearing heavy gold bricks for boots.

does that make sense? probably not.. hehe.

I think I liked the first album better, for one reason that it didn't seem to take itself so seriously. anyway, i'll listen to it some more and if my opinion changes, i'll gladly admit to jumping the gun.
          ..it's just another party..

Let me know when you get this. I wanna check this album as well. Retch and Nosferatu were kick ass tunes. I hope he does something as good on the album.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Nosferatu is one of the best tracks I have ever heard!! No doubt about it!! And my feelings are that this whole album is filled with Nosferatu moments!!           _______________________________-______________________________

i have the album and must say CONGRATULATIONS.... some very good tracks that i would use in my sets, this album is very good. Electronic music at is best, not only tumtumtum but also other types of electronic music, very good i must say, not for every taste but definitely a very good addiction both for my psy collection and my electronic music collection.

the first track is worth the cost of the album. i just wish there was a longer version. i love how artifakt has evolved. someday i'll meet him and tell him in person.           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

A very original album. Some of the tracks definitely have some influence from some of infected mushroom's earlier work.

HOLY FUCKKK!!!

Someone finally gets some balls, steps forward and FUCKING INNOVATES in this style!! This is unlike anything I've ever heard before, and the last time I got this feeling was listening to Hallucinogen's earlier works, so it's been many years of boredom. A true masterpiece; conceptual yet psychedelic - it's the future of psytrance, I hope. A huge bow to this man!           Ed (Delusional)

BRILLIANT!!!!
This is a symphony of sound, not really a "dance" album. The (hi)story of religion from the beginning of time. Something for the armchair or car. This album will take you on a journey that you never want to come back from. This cd WILL become one of the Psytrance classics of all time. Sheer brilliance, only matched by Artifakts debut album.

So go out there and buy it! 9/10
