are you looking for an instrument that has an arp or are you looking for something that will output arps to your instruments?           The IsraTrance MySpace Group:

If you have some good synth with great arp patterns or which allows come up wtih new ones, such as Supernova2, Motif, CS6x etc, you can record the arpeggios from MIDI OUT on your computer + sequencer. It's interesting to make that, cos recording 4 or 8 bars of C2/C3 chord (CEG on second or third octave - covering form 2nd oct till 4/5th oct) with different gate values (50%/70%/100%), you can use these patterns to play other chord easily (and with other synths, samplers etc.)
I came across some Kawai K5000, Supernova2 and Virus arp patterns on Net a long time ago (when I hadn't any synth yet), and if you wish them, I send you via email.

I'd be interested in that sonik...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

The Albino 2 includes a 32 step arpeggiator - its easy to use, and have a great sound. (The presets are made by Rob Papen, who have made presets for the Orbit3 and Access Virus) Check it out.

Mindfly, nice to hear that Albino2 has a 32 step sequencer. It isn't common to see VST synths with arpeggiator built-in.

Billy, a lot of people makes his own arp patterns (I myself), but it's interesting the results that I got when I manipulate arpeggios from my Supernova2, Microwave XT and Prophecy. You always can come up with new things. It's almost an art concept!
Still, Motif has an incredible feature: you can program complex stuff on its sequencer and then, you can import these sequences into the arpeggio built-in.
Well, I really love arpeggios and I appreciate those synths that allows to customize the arpeggios.
Motif 2 has 1700 kind of arpeggios built-in! Karma is another powerful synth for making arpeggios. Supernova2 is great and Q/micro-Q has a very powerful arpeggio built-in.
I've already had a CS6x, which has amazing arp built-in (its patterns are COOL), but it doesn't allow to modify them. Really bad.
Virus (A/B/C) has a very poor arpeggio built-in (bad patterns, very simple), not programable as well.

Mubali, tell me your email and I will send some zip files (small, don't worry) with Supernova2,K5K,Karma and Virus midi arp patterns. You can import these ones into your sequencer and manipulate them ;-)
