Timescape are Gonçalo Malosso (music producer) and João Fernandes (live drummer). “Around the Universe” is a mix between spacey electronic melodies and rock influenced drumming. From the mystical India to the tribal Africa, the joyfull Jamaica and the rings of Saturn, they’re sonic journey knows no boundaries. Rita Mandala applied her live vocals in some of the tracks (“Indian Rain”, “2011 A Groove Odyssey”, “Roots” and “Sonic Love”). All the instruments were produced digitally, except the drums (in all of the tracks) and the didgeridoo in the track “Roots” (played by Gonçalo Malosso). João Fernandes plays with Roland TD-4K V-Drums, and Gonçalo Malosso uses Cubase powered by a pristine MOTU, Samson monitors, midi-controlers and high quality Pro Mics. Enjoy the ride!
