Nice one gents, cheers.
Regarding having our own sound (for better or for worse). I think it mainly has to do with programming synth sounds from init patches, always programming a new kick for every single track, etc...and using non psytrance snare and hat sample packs, for psytrance...I did use the good ol' open hat sound for this, the other hat samples, snares, claps and breakbeats are off the Dr.Dre EXS24 library.
Spoke to Young yesterday about this remix coming out as a split release with Arkanoydz on Neurobiotic in a couple of months, so release won't take that long (fingers crossed).
Peace out.

I think I remember a time on these boards where you were hating on the Virus TI change of heart, or just all the new features they keep adding?
It's like every time I decide NOT to buy one, they add something that makes me swoon.
Anyways, solid track. It is more FX-filled than a lot of your tunes, which is totally cool. Old Hallucinogen is certainly the stuff to listen to for big FX inspiration.

Yup. I was a Virus hater, but I was wanting it to sound good next to a real analog synth...which is the Virus' weakness...and was missing out on its strength, the digital side of the synth, the new oscillators and the way frequency modulation and phase modulation sounds when not using the Virus' classic waveforms.
Thanks for kind words.
Peace out.

What new oscillators are you exactly talking about? |

Grain and Formant oscillators, as well as the Wavetables...although if I remember correctly from my Virus B days, the Virus B had a lot of the same wavetables..
Peace out.
