No flaming Anak, but could you point out, in today's world, exactly which ingredients or substances cannot be substituted through the right choice of vegetables and other supplements?
Taste?

well, there does not seem to be an english translation, but i just reread the paragraph. the thesis is that especially supplements are very much against nature's plan. for example that funghi stuff....here it's called "Quorn", no idea if it's just a brandname though...it does carry the nutritions, but nevertheless it's more chemical than natural. it's for sure that our old neanderthals couldn't produce that in their gardens
however, in the end of the day it's all a matter of how you do it and which sort of diet satisfies you. i did not want to say that being vegetarian ain't healthy...just that there is also another side to look at it. now it just bugs me real much i cannot find a good link

actually believe that the adrenaline released into the dogs' bloodstreams by their sheer terror and agony will increase the sexual potency of the consumer.
|
|
and I was only kidding. This is a really absurd idea, if they want the adrenalin they should just eat the adrenal gland, and anyway, adrenalin wont really do much, if anything when eat because it would proably just get broken down in the gut and probably wouldnt pass the blood-brain barrier either.
It never fails to amuse me the strange and irrational beliefs people have about causes/cures of impotance.

The resulting "liquid cat" (known as "Goyangi soju") is then sold in small sachets.
An average size cat, when cooked with dates, herbs and chestnuts, will produce 20-25 of these sachets.

I dunno "liquid cat" actually sounds kindof tasty..

good point Anak, that supplements are not adequate enough for providing us the right nutrition in the right way...but pls appreciate that we consider this option under the cloud of depending on medicines for all our other needs...so how far are we?
the real issue though is...would u agree to stop eating meat if you knew it could be replaced nutritionally?

however, i did not want to discuss supplements, but this - climatically, the colder countries could not grow food, so they depended on meat as food, but since veggies of all kinds are now available everywhere, they can surely support the needs of every climate.
BBBbut their people have to catch on beyond their traditional beliefs...imean 1000 years of refining a recipe is not so hard to break

^^Ha you almost make it sound like we are talking about your style of dancing. “everyone should feel comfortable with the way he / she chooses.. ”
Hey so if I choose to eat your family for dinner, should I feel comfortable because “its the way I choose ” ? |

You are sounding like some kind of religious fundamentalist.
Fact is, humans have eaten meat all over the world as a part of normal diet throughout recorded history. Bhuddism, Jainism and Hinduism (for certain castes) are the only belief systems I know of that forbids meat. Everyone evererywhere else has been eating meat. Fact is, it is normal in nature to eat other species, while it is comparatively uncommon for species to eat their own.
Fact is, I am more interested in eating things that taste good than in trying to live by fundamentalist morals.
I care about stewardship of the enviromnment as a whole and protecting species from extinction.
I do not particularly care about the well being and happiness or right to live of individuals who are not of my species. |
