I played bass guitar for 7 years till i got into electronic music and stop practising , i'm so rusty now that i can barely play a full line .

Oh those were the days , i used to "slap" the funk out of my baby bass guitar , now all i see is sequencers and computer screen.

nevermind all for the good and i still play a lot my classic guitar , not complex spenish lines just regular songs chords hehehe

guitar, bass guitar, djembe, keys, recorder - if I can put my hands on it and it makes a sound, it's an instrument to me.

Now how WELL I can play is another story - my technical skills aren't amazing by any means.

I play the guitar and flute, though both only at a very basic level. Spending too much time in front of a computer screem made me want to make noise some other way. I learned to play the piano a bit too when I was small - but that's a difficult now as I don't have access to one, unlike the flute which I could carry around with me and play whenever I want, (if I so desired). I bought a buddhist singing bowl too, but that only makes a whirring noise, still i'm sure that it counts as playing it. Now I come to think about it, I've got lots of things that make noise, but maybe I'm digressing a little.

i'm a drummer....9 years of classical and jazz percussion studies. i'm mostly specialized in african rhythms, i played together with a group of more than a dozen djembe and conga players.
i sort of lost the love to my instrument in the last months tho...mostly because i see how this lovely instrument gets abused for low-creative rock music and well i cant find any band to play them for (besides the small triphop/experimental breaks collective i'm playing in here and then), cos every band who's looking for a new drummer plays a style i cant connect too ....

I used to play classical guitar for 4 years, and then in played electric guitar for about 8 years, mostly spacey stuff like Satriani, Vai and Hendrix. I've only recently picked up the electric guitar again. Nowadays is spend a great deal more time behind the sequencer

I play saxes (sop, alto, tenor) and flute to a high level. Am keen to do collaboration on those if anyone wants. Would love some samples of percussion or drums, or am keen to work with someone who can provide them.

Sax James.
