Too old doesn't make sense to me, too old for what?

I wouldn't doubt drugs are actually a big reason why we don't see more younger new people coming in..

i would see it exactly the opposite way.
drugs are the reason why older people rarely come to take part in partys.
and even if i personally dont see myself too old for most activities in my life, i definitely do consider myself too old to allow myself to treat my body disrespectflully (=drugs of any sort, except acid and even acid should be treated with respect).
but we will never be too old for trance. just for the partys. ...

If you feel too old for parties, then you're really old.

Read this:
Quote:

"Youth is not a period of life. It's a state of the spirit, it's the product of a will.
A quality of the imagination and an emotional intensity,
it's the victory of courage over shyness,
of adventure over comfort.

One doesn't grow older for having lived a number of years.
One gets older for having deserted an ideal.
Years will wrinkle the skin,
but giving up an ideal will wrinkle the soul.
Worries, doubts, fears and lack of hope are enemies
that slowly make us lean towards the ground .
And we become dust before our death.

Young is the one who astounds and is fascinated.

The one who asks like an insatiable child: "what's next?"
The one that defies circumstances and finds joy in the game of life.

One is as young as one's faith.
And as old as one's doubts.
As young as one's self-trust.
As one's hope. And as old as one's dejection.

One remains young as long as one's receptive.
Receptive to all that is beautiful and all that is big.
Receptive to the messages of nature, of man and of the infinite.

If sometime your heart is bitten by pessimism,
or gnawed by cynicism,
may God have mercy upon your old soul."

when you start saying things like it was better in the past, you know you are getting too old ,if you are still there its just cause you haven t find something better.

Saying it was better in the past, does not mean you're too old, it just means you're old enough to know better
Imho, the past was definitely better, that does not mean the present is shite though. The present is good...its just not as good as it used to be.

Instead of whining about the past and present (I've whined like a spoiled brat me self), its better to focus our energy for a future, that will be better than the past and present, put together.

i agree that saying that the past was better doesn't mean that your old... but if you say "I still feel young" then you are probably old

My Russian friend used to get upset every time somebody complimented his English. Puzzling, isn't it? Well, his logic was that nobody gives these compliments to an Englishman or an American. If somebody praises your pronunciation, it means you still sound like a boater. I guess, “I still feel young” is just like that, except you hear it from yourself.

I wonder if Koozer feels old too...
