Are there any progressive party's in israel???

There is alot of full on partys everywhere , evry weekend , even techno some times but where is the progressive scene in israel hiding??? can u help me to rech that place??? |

there are a lot of progressive parties lately, last friday there was a party in the desert with domo's djs.

sorry to say but as for me there is no proper progressive parties in Israel, may be one or two per season... we try and play this kind of music at different places, but whole party ass shaking grooves iv didnt for a long time..

well, same for me.
i still go to parties and enjoy.
but accept for a very few domo parties and small (too small for my taste) friends parties i havent encounter minimal-progressive parties in my area.
and by the way - i didn't heared even once a krumelur track in a propper trance party in israel and i think its realy too bad.
but i still believe that maybe one day... |

btw - if u realy progressive addicted and u care for a future of this music here in Israel its a time for you start and do something.. ask organizators for proogy djs, make sure u come to few progressive parties tha happen around, give your friend some music.. i dunno.. becoze very close date when there will be no progy at all here, i myself look for the future in progy house and clubs.. i wish continue and be part of outdoor tribe but local tribe dont want me and alike..

Zombi they dont want u because u look like David Beckham that is why. U have to make your hair more psy, u understand? 
To tell u the truth ppl I really dont understand why it is so bad to have a proggy lineup till 8-9am and there are more than a few parties I have encountered personally this year, u need only to look around
And to wish for all the party proggy is nice as long as it is a wish since it is a bit unfair to ppl who like their morning more pumping.

well, i realy have to put a rasta during weekends:)
but seriously i can say few words more - as more the music progress and get open minded as more Israel going deep down and far from be progressive.. pitched up Ticon trax cant be defined as progressive set, and i dont hear anybody play something else under name "progressive". what about fat deep trance ? what about tech-house influenced percussive trance ? what about psy breaks for a change ? what about tribal trance ? what aboutn electro trance ?
is the progressive is only Plusquam/Iboga style ? i dont think so... but Israely ppl do think so.. so i feel like less and less knowledge about progressive into local trance heads..
i play realy different and surprizing sets i hope, but with big patience and effort i still cant realy influence somebody. all i hear at other "progressive sets" is a pitched up Ticon tunes.
but i still want thanx all ppl that care (more or less) the music i so like - FTF crew, Dakini crew, OneBit crew, Q club, Moksha project, Nachum and others i forgot now !!
and i think wish proper progressive party is oki, after all most of others parties have nothing but full on.
we at our outdoors have place for both, tech-night, full on morning and groovey-housey noon.. but still i just miss the ppl who will take definition "progressive" to places i dont know about!!

I believe that ppl first go to enjoy to a party, not to come and have a lesson of electronic music - they want to dance, and dance at certain bit per minute and higher. As from it's roots this genre of music was highly psy and today ( to my sorrow ) it is not that psy but still tends to be... There are not a LOT of place for Tech House / Breaks / clubby stuff in those parties.. I think this is quite clear to most of the ppl that go to trance parties...
I consider myself rather open to other styles of music, and actually I dont listen to trance at home ( studio work is enough thanks ) unless I work on a set and on my DJing skills. I listen partially to the music u mentioned, but fairly I must say that it fits really good to my living room and maybe to a lounge in Tel Aviv, but SURELY I wount go 200 kilometers to the desert when the night is damn cold and hear groovie movie music.. I can do it so well in my living room u can't believe
I don't think it is connected to openness of ppl but to many different things and part of them is what they want ( and they want psy trance, that is what they like and nothing bad about it ) and they want it in rather fast bpms ( because many of the crowd use amphetamines of different kinds - I dont care if they come from trips or E's the effect is one - ppl want a little faster music then 125 bpm groovers )
I think that your major mismatch when u bitching is only one - u have to go to TLV / any other club in Tel Aviv that doesnt play trance and u get what u need
So WHY? for god's sake we always come to that when u have a LOT of clubs playing non psy electronic music 24/7 ???

well, i still like djs like D-Nox or Klangmuller or Anti that know come to biggest and psyest trance events and play music that come from non "psy" labels and be a main and major force at a party.. those ones know to make right atmosphere with different kind of music styles and those ones realy make me dance.. thats all.
about TA clubs Yuli, sorry to say, noone plays progressive.. and now two of underground clubs (Tzofe and Sofabeat) just closed down..
im not bitching btw, im saying my opinion.. the ones who can say there is proper progressive parties in israel just never been at proper party of this kind. IMO.
No alternative in TA and no alternative in outdoor.. well, i will make some:)

Agreed man totally - they play late morning sets in parties made of psy / psy prog / anything Trance music, and then...
After everyone had their share of trancey mess, they come late morning and everyone stomping for slow groovy unpsy prog music and this is super cool man.
But I dont see these parties feature this style from 1200 at night till the end that is it

well even though i would prefer to agree with zombi i have to back yuli on this one.
For my own small experience and yours also there is no room for comparison between the party conditions and demand musicly here and in europe, where proggy rules.
although there are some tries for longer parties like the last weeks cool desert gathering, still most of the ppl started to come after 4:00 am and left before 10:00.
This is a fact, ppl here are not built for long parties and then you need to adjust to that musicwise and you cant really play REAL proggy music until very late because ppl do not dig it here.
I must admit that even though my pure preferation is to play a real progressive set as i want, i cant do it when i play in certain hours and then i need to play proggy tunes a bit faster and go to faster and more full on direction.
Maybe someday the parties would start to last longer but until then the reall pure progressive sets would be kept limited until 5:00 AM maximum and from 10:00 onwards if the party lasts.
Even in our own parties in which we really push the progressive sets in the line up to the maximum we still have to let ppl "release some steam" in the morning or the party will die faster than wanted.
We just have to be realistic, but remember, 2 years ago when we started with proggy no one would book a proggressive dj to his party, and now there is one at least in almost all the outdoor parties, so maybe in some years this will change also..

well, i didnt spoke about reasons or whatever.. all i say there is no proper progressive parties in israel, thats all.. no matter why and how..
there is alot proper super professional full on parties btw.. parties that tsunami or oren come makes looks very good..
and i never said prog party should be unpsy or slow all the way.. thats the point - proper prog party should have deep-start, tech-night, pumping morning and housey late hours.. or possibley other options. those kind of parties never happen here.. agree or not ?
