Hi every1
I heard/read lots of good stuff about the Sony (now Sonnox) Oxford plugins.
Anyone has any experience with them ? Are they a grade above everything else as I've been told ?
The ones that interests me are the EQ and Dynamics.

Peace

They are good but only UAD plugs are THAT good.
A friend told me once that the biggest mistake we make is that we believe we live, when in reality we are sleeping in the waiting room of life. |

They really are good but i wouldn't say this is the best and all u ever are going to need. I use em depending on the sound, eq mainly for pads, percussion is when i use the sonnox but the Brainstorm BX i believe is called is one of my new favorites hehe it's so fucken flexible.
but from the sonnox my favorite is the a Oxford
TransMod thats used quite frequently actually the most from the package. I like the eq but for subtle stuff not for experimentation, I got others for that.
I'd get it, Overall i give em a 9.0 out of 10

best dynamics plugs imo, the limiter, comp and inflator is all you need |

Me LOVE Sonnox as well as UAD, but i can't say that UAD better than Sonnox, all plugs are for defferent needs, but well Cambridge has better filters --> true and btw Sonnox reverb is the N1! Get them all, they worth it!

Limiter is TOP of the pops. Reverb is outstanding and the rest is "just" great

Yes i think they're really THAT good. Definately a step up from most other products. Has anyone tried to strap an inflator accross a reverb send ? It's like cleaning a window
As for the comparison between the Cambridge and Oxford eq's: they both have a different character and although i prefer the Cambridge for most tasks, the Oxford in my ears sounds more transparent than the Cambridge when doing high frequency boosts. |

Do you mean on the send (ie. before the reverb) or on the return (ie. after the reverb)?

|
Oh, yeah i meant a send reverb, so i insert it after the send reverb. |
