correct me if im not politically correct.
The way i see jordan from israel (and im not israeli born), is that it's "not as bad" as other neighbouring countries in that sense...
But i've never heard of a scene there           "I went to Goa and all i got was this lousy superiority complex."

i was by the jordan border today.
heard etnic psy tunes style gms featuring raja ram's sitar and tarbuka ( arabian drum of sort) comming from a watch tower...
at the ground near the tower... there were 2 jordan soldiers raving crazy with smoke comming up from them...

oh well, the part about me being by the jordan boarder is true atleast

i just thought it would be really cool to stomp in some place like Petra.
Surely i can't be the only one.
is trance only for the west?? i hope not.

Can't we solve all the worlds problems with music and dance?? please. it makes much more sense than with bullets and bombs.

Well i've just returned from Jordan, and it's a lovely place, full of great people who welcome strangers into their hearts and homes. ( i'm serious here, it's great )

there are many fantastic places to party, although no-one seems to do any there. there is lots of house and d&b etc played by the locals, and lots of small desert parties put on by friends' networks, but no organised trance community at all that i could find.

But i enjoyed playing some wicked israely trance to a few taxi drivers and their friends one night, and they loved it. I have an offer to play at one of their weddings, if i can get myself over there again, but i don't think the credit card can handle another journey like that so soon.

Gotta say, it was fun to be playing atomic pulse as i was passing through some checkpoints on the dead sea. Madness!!.

Anyway, they don't have anything against isrealies, that they would admit to anyway, they love foreign income and there are some magical places there to visit ( Petra and Wadi Rum especially ) so i recommend it as a weekend destination for all you tranceheads on the other side of the border. you never never know if never never go, as they say.

cheers, and thanks for the advice prior.           doof is to me, as food is to 'em
