Hey guys finally finished this track (bar a few tiny tweaks I'll do if it gets mastered) - it's an attempt to bridge acid psychedelic night sound with the hitech sound that artists like Brainiac and Materia are doing at the moment.

Any and all feedback is welcome, although this track is finished (need to move on), but I'll implement suggestions in future tracks.

Enjoy!

oh wow, this drawed my attraction immediately.

what a freakin nice balance between hypnotic sounding, and machine-style beathopping, really diggin it! superb quality, your kick/bass combo could be a bit more outstanding in the mix, but overall very very good work here. track builds up nicely from 4min and on. good ending, what a hell of a synth line at 5.25.

9/10

+ nice flow
+ hypnotic sounds
+ good arrangement

- missing overall "in-your-face" punch

tip: maybe using a bit more lowend on your kick, OR your bassline, would do it

Wicked thanks a lot for the reply!

Yeah I agree about the kick and bass, it needs to improve a bit. Luckily that's pretty easy to go back and change in the future

The synth line at 5:25, I've been trying this new technique:
By using almost all the same note (except at the end of bars), and clear modulation, actually seems to create more energy. It really seems that percussive lines like this create energy, and melodies release energy, which is also good in it's place.

But anyway, thanks again, I'll work on those aspects you mentioned           http://www.soundcloud.com/architektnz
