Hey everybody, I remixed a breakbeat tune that a good friend of mine wrote and is being released this Thursday. His name is Channel Surfer and lives in Seattle mainly working for the "rave" scene writing breaks, club trance, and even electro house. He asked me to make a psy-trance version of his track to get released on his label, Televisionary.
Below is the info to hear a sample and purchase the track online, the tune is a digital release only so if you're not a fan of the original you can pick up my single if it tickles your fancy.
I wrote this one at 144 bpm, designed to be for the mornings but can be pitched upwards for a nighttime slot. Feedback is always welcome, positive or negative.
I'm also on the hunt for a psy label that might find this tune suiting for a compilation as I have permission from this label to release in two completely different genres.
here are the details:

{Channel Surfer strikes again with a bomb of a breakbeat…a "Mega Bomb", in fact. With a rolling 16th note bassline, catchy acidic melodies, and a dirty, grinding change-up, Channel pushes the edge of conventional breaks and delivers a raging new original.
Enlisting the help of long-time friend and San Diego Psy-Trance authority, Arahat, the remix features a twisted Psy mix that rounds out this release with some serious psychedelic ball-sack.
BOOM!
From Channel:
This release is truly one for the underground. It doesn't really sound anything like what's big in breakbeat at the moment. This release is for underground festivals, outdoor raves, and grimy dance clubs.
Arahat AKA Hidro-Ponik, has been a long-time friend of mine, in addition to being a HUGE mentor to me. I played some of my first shows on line-ups with this guy, and he is also the resident mastering engineer for Televisionary. This is the first time we've actually worked on music together, and he did a stellar job with his mix.
We hope you enjoy.
