You're on paved road till you reach the last strecth of dirt road to the Ranch. Go easy through the streams and it's a cinch. |

Will there be a disappointment-prevention item in place in case some not-so-bright-or-informed people decide to take Osborne to get there?

The bridge is still closed on the paved road so we'll be taking an alternate route to the Gold Creek turn off. This route is only 16 miles longer than the usual way for a total of 41 miles from LA. Check below for the New Directions. . .
New directions to the Ranch:
Take all Routes to the 5 North
Merge onto the 14 north
Take the 2nd Exit - PLACERITA CYN - Right
Go 5 Miles to the T intersection - Right onto SAND CANYON
11 Miles to GOLD CREEK ROAD - Left
1 mile to END - Left up the dirt road
1 mile to ENTRANCE
cu there. . .
It is highly recommended to follow these directions-Taking Osborne is NOT the way to go.

Oh yes.. I have the directions. I was just speaking for those not fortunate enough to check this lovely forum or that dashing Greensector.com website.
For those who ARENT in the know, will there be some sort of sign with directions or a phone number if they DO take Osborne?
The less people discouraged, the better. |

The plan is to post a sign at the road block that says Green Sector with the info line number. The people that go the worng way can call and get the right directions...

We had 15 tons of Gravel delivered yesterday and Jack spread it over the creek crossings to make them smooth. The dirt part has some ruts in it but nothing you can't drive around...

Just be there for the 16th...
All I can say about this party, is that if I tried to tell the story of what I saw from start to finish, noone would belive me if they were not present.
Highlights:
-A tripped out guy hiding behind trashcans, running away from another guy in a chicken suit
-Carl ..dancing.. on FIRE!
-Watching a foursome spill from the dancefloor into the ravine...and then seeing the same four in the middle of the ravine getting REALLY dirty as we left...
-THAT GREEN LASER!!!!!
I cannot wait for two weeks to pass.
I missed the Ranch so much!!!
(for all of you who are sad they could not attend, make it up to yourself by going to the next one, April 16th... or May 21st!!!)

I cannot express disappointment or any other type of negative feeling toward a DJ due to the fact that I am not one myself, so it would be hypocritical of me to talk down about one.
Therefore I shall refrain from commenting on Cosmosis. Treavor had a nice set though!!
(Another musical note... did anyone other than me actually notice what was being played in the Electro/Breaks tent?! DRE AND EMINEM?! ) |
