applying single effect on multiple channels

Hi all... it's probably a noob question.. but i wanna know if it is possible to apply a single effect (like flanger, phaser etc.) on multiple channels in cubase sx 3..
and if it is, how do i do this.

U can setup one fx channel with the fx u want to use and route all fx channel that u want to be affected by this fx into it.

I see.. is there any easier way to do this? cause i want to use the effect on certain parts of the track.. not the whole time.

Set-up the effect you want in your send effects bank. Once you have done this you can then assign this send to as many of the channels as you want. You can then use automation on each channel to turn the send effect on or off on each channel as per your needs.

Sure this is a possibility, but u will always have the wet signal mixed with the dry.

If u want to use an effect that should output 100% wet, like e.g. mostly a compressor, it is not possible to do it with a send channel.

(or can u in cubase use a send channel and deactivate the dry out of the main channel? )            Signature

you can use group channels it's good for FX too

or use the prefader setting on the fx dry/wet balance and pull the fader of the original track down. With some vst plugins you can even dial the dry/wet setting. (camelphat etc)
