Its easy enough on FL though.

Just make an automation on the level for the delay, just before the last note that you want to delay, you bring the automation up to full, and just that note will bounce along.

Added nice effect is if you automate the level down again, the delay fades away instead of being abrupt. So you can still use it with a ton of feedback.           www.soundcloud.com/za-pagan

Its beer appreciation month.
Send me beer...I'll appreciate it.

Well, you could try to automate parameters like attack also, to get rid of the punch at the start. In Ableton its quite simple, at least with the native Synths...

Bouncing it down to audio and add a little fade in at the start might also do the trick. Or put on some filter to filter out the punch....

Well, after all said and done,it was actually the best method I tried .
So,what beats scizors but looses to paper?Cause thats you dude.

After figuring out the exact intervals so it would sound like a real delay, and softening the envelope, that was it.The best thing is I could play with velocity of each note and make it sound like the echo is rising up again after its almost gone...

Good times.

Try to avoid having the delay being exactly on the 1/4th note or whatever, get a slight offset. It will sound so much better and "analog" (as much as I hate that word).

If I need a part of an sequence or sound to repeat while the rest keeps on playing I usually just cut out the bit I want and drag it down on a new audio track and apply the delay there... Easy as pie But it does assume that the part is already bounced to audio.           www.soundcloud.com/vonoom | www.vonoom.bandcamp.com | www.facebook.com/vonoom | www.flikflakfamily.com

man i m not sure about what you want to do but if you are after that delaying sound that stay forever just use a delay that lock the feedback , you automate that ( the switch to lock the feedback)and the loop will stay forever, then automate volume or a filter to stop hearing it it,done. logic delay and ff timeless does that and i guess many others but man it have been so much abused i find this effect can get boring sometimes, try some automations, filters modulations or other stuff to make it more exciting.
