This isn't true. PCs are faster and cheaper than macs. Apple are actually moving to Intel CPUs because they are faster and cheaper.

The Apple laptops are even slower compared to PC laptops. If you want speed, don't buy a Mac. Only buy a Mac if you prefer the software on it and the OS.

You will loose FL and soundforge (I don't know about Traktor) and you will have to replace all your other software and plugins. Add that to the price of an Apple laptop and you could by alot of nice gear for the price difference ...

If you want optimum, buy something with an AMD CPU in it ... If you decide to go the PC route there is one thing to remember: Get expensive RAM. Cheap RAM seems to be the biggest cause for problems on the PC platform.
