honestly though, comparing yourself to all of the people that have been beaten, stabbed, tortured, tied to a fence and left to die, and murdered because someone posted a couple of tongue-in-cheek links to a comedy/satire site and some (possibly) bad puns is really pretty low. view yourself as a martyr for the cause if you wish, but it seems like quite a leap if you ask me.
but wait a minute here, didn't you also say that you don't get into the whole fursuit thing a few pages back? and how the hell did this become a 'nature vs. nurture' debate? are you saying that some people are born with predisposition to shit into a diaper while wearing a fursuit? and if this is all so very personal and private, then how did this even end up on a psytrance message board in the first place?
i'm confused, please enlighten me.. i've asked plenty of questions to better understand the opposing PoV (and this is certainly not the first occasion), but i've yet to hear a much of a rational explanation.. michael

The fact that I'm a furry and participate in furcons is not private. What happens in my bedroom (or various hotel rooms) is, and I never posted anything about that, as far as I can remember...it was y'all that brought it up!
And yeah, SA... I know how SA is, which is why I don't react the way I am reacting now when people say what you are saying on SA, because it is SA and if you can't stand being made fun of, don't post there.
This is not SA, so I would enjoy not being made fun of. |

Okay think about it this way: A lot of people enjoy taking MDMA.
Some people enjoy taking MDMA and fucking.
Does that mean if I mention I like to take MDMA, I am all of a sudden talking about my sex life? Not necessarily.
The same with furries, really
The thing that bothers me is that the reactions I get from people when it comes out that I'm a furry aren't just lighthearted jabs like I would get for being an anime fan or scifi nerd or... twilight fanatic, I guess.
They're outright attacks and attempts at defamation, like I would expect someone to give to say... a scientologist or young-earth creationist--for which that kind of treatment actually make sense. |

I thought the baseball comment wasn't necessary. A lot of people of alternative sexualities have been attacked in such a manner over the years. An acknowledgment of that and an apology would be nice.
I laughed at the whole furry thing, still laughing, that's not ignorance though, it's human nature to be tickled by others sexual fetishes that are different than the norm.
Shiranui -conversations like these are the perfect time to educate people about your fetish. I would like to know more behind the whole furry thing. It is a sexual fetish correct? What drives it? The anonymity of being covered and hence a freedom to be? Is theactual animal part of it a turn on? Just curious and like to be educated about others.

for me its the latter. it really becomes a useful tool after you get used to the added pressure. I feel more alive and like i could take on the world however its not all bonus material here. the drawback is that now i relate pineapples to a very deep place in my ass which is something that doesnt conjure appetite for me. so again its bittersweet. and also for anyone else out there who didnt have pineaplled asses preceeding this thread but are planning on going that route now a peice of advice like many things pineapples are directional they are easier to insert one direction more than the other but and this is key if you are inserting it the easy way getting it out will be more difficult so best to start uphill and then coast downhill rather than the opposite.
