hello ppl.it is very simple:
lets say that i have some audio samples in an audio channel in cubase.for example i have kick, and i only want to reverse one of those.but when i do it,all the samples in this particular channel are reversed.even if i copy one of the samples in another channel, stillit gets reversed in both channels.
i know it is a setting which you get in the begining (lets say when you first install cubase and you are doing this function for the first time),where it asks if you want to"aply to all" or "create a new version" or something like that.i searched in the options but i cant find it.i know it is simple and stupid, but it would be great if anyone could tell me where can i change this setting from
thanx in advance:)           Signature:

Uuhm,. you just need to make a real copy of the audio bit.
Go to the editor and save it again under another name and then re-import it.
Not sure how it is done in cubase tho.

In any case you propably do not want to change the setting when you install cubase.
It will change the way other things work.

again, just guessing from what little experience i have with cubase.

psytendo, actualy i am quite sure i do want to change the setting, saving under other name and then re-import is a big procedure,if you compare to ->right click->reverse->done

thanx for answering though           Signature:

You have indeed once-upon-a-time reversed a sample, then in the dialogue box selected something along the lines of 'don't ask me again' and chosen your default response.

I have no idea where the option is to reset the dialogue box responses is located.

However in the meantime -
Right click > edit > convert to real copy

This is now an new independent copy of the original that you can apply effects to without doing it to the rest.
