Anyone who knows CUBASE and KONTAKT really well...I DESPERATELY need your help!!!!

I have been working on a project which had 6 instances of KONTAKT running, which was fine it ran smooth with no problem. Now i hae gone to open my project again, it says 'pending connections' on all the KONTAKTS, then it lists all my Kontakt inputs and says 'these tracks could not be connected and will be removed' And i have now lost my Kontakt with all the samples i had in them. I'm guessing that Cubase wont let 6 instances of Kontakt run and so wont connect them...but is there any way of sorting this or getting them back!?? I had such a good tune on the go with samples that worked really well, is there any way i can get the Kontakts to load or get them back!? Anyone who can help i will be forever in your debt!! |

Just to add to that, Cubase has actually diconnected all my VST's including the Kontakts, and also won't play any audio in the project???. So i am left with a project full of midi events with nothing to play them. Pleeeease someone tell me there is some way i can get my project back and working again!!! |

try rescaning all your vst plugins,and check if your audio device is selected in device settings.
better yet, trash cubase prefs.
in case you dont know how to do that... go to C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Application Data\Steinberg\Cubase SX\
and move the content of the dir to a different place, and then start cubase. |

What changed?
It worked last time you had it open though right?
Sometimes updated can mess things up , do you have auto updates going on anything?

^^ had same thought with GyPsynate
did you try uninstall and reinstall Cubase ?
maybe this sort things out
btw 6 instances of Kontakt ??  thats 96 tracks man
