I'm demoing them for the last couple of days and i'm extremely satisfied especially with the Vibe EQ. It's really colorful, i almost managed to get the same sound as from the Pulteq UAD, but a little different......and here's the funny thing......i like it more than the Pulteq!!!
Anyone else that tried them?

the vibe eq looks the same as URs's fulltec eq ,i'm getting very good results with it.thx for the info i'll try this as well  |

yes its nice.
you use it in pultecstyle? like boosting low freq of f.e. kick with sharp q to get it nicely booming without getting out of control.
also blue tubes nomadfactory has peq2 ..something.. i forgot... which also does the pultec way very good.
in my experience its hard to say which eq is better, pultec or stillwell or whatever. it varies with the source material. its just good to have a couple of good eq proggies to check which one does the job best for this particular sound.
some time ago here they mentioned pushtec as good. dont know it. also accon studio essentials eq is good one. and the roger nichols series has also good eq. just to mention some not so super wellknown ones ( like waves, sonalskis etc.) |
