MK1 user here, not on version 2 as it requires to update OS, which I am not going to until new OS is stable. It rocks, use it in every track, allows me to get very creative with samples, brilliant for tapping beats on the pads and has changed my live sets for the better both for the extra things I can do on stage but also for personal satisfaction when playing.
The included libraries are top drawer.

I`m contemplating getting one as well, since I got 250 Euro worth of Amazon giftcards for my birthday and Amazon does sell the Maschine.
So one other related question to those who have Maschine, is it enough to get Maschine Mikro since it comes with the same software, or does that take too much tweakability and fun away. I`m very keen on a direct hands-on approach, I hate Menusurfing, and I guess thats what I would have to do a lot with the Mikro.

I need the knobs both for editing parameters on Maschine but also because they double as mapped CCs for tweaking Logic parameters in live sets.

maschine 2.0 is the nuts, hardly look at the screen anymore , even for editing synths, let my ears do the work and stop relying on my Lying eyes

Mac
Mac OS X 10.7 or 10.8 (latest update), Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM (4 GB recommended)
so this are the requirements. still on snow leopard and sort of unwilling to update to a new OS, didn't really like Logic X under Mountain Lion when tested. |
