Don't have experience with any Korg stuff but the Mono/Poly in the VSTi Collection looks nice. Sure there's lots of software recreations of hardware out there but from what I understand the Korg MS and Polysix were classic.
Anyone think the virtual versions offer enough for the price (i couldn't find pricing anywhere), must be at least $200 US.

I've used the Korg plugins a bit and the only real drawback would be the high processor usage. The Legacy Cell, which is included in the plugin pack uses combinations of the Polysix and MS-20, with capabilites for up to two effects combinations(Korg FX which come with the plugin pack) for some excellent sounds.
The Polysix and MS-20 on there own are acurate reprouctions of the original analogue synths.
Overall, the pack can provide many common sounds and with tweaking extremely diverse sounds.
  It's the bizzo. |
