I was just wondering if the software is being used by DJ's & Artists playing Live... I think it's killer !
Would you know how to use Traktor to all it's potential... as in prelisten n stuff.... i know you need a multichannel soundcard (USB) but i am not very clear about it... so far been playing without the headset... Please tell me some more ...

It's better to use Ableton to play live.
Much more resources.
You can place effects, loops, samples almost anything you wish.
For Traktor if you only have one soundcard you can't hear both tracks (speakers and headphones). So you have to go by eye!
It's not that dificult but you will only be able to mix on breaks.

It's very easy to mix on Traktor.
Mostly cause of the sync function!
But it's a good tool to play around and try some new things.
I use it a lot at home! Usually when I'm playing Full Tilt Poker!

hehe ... Whatever keeps the music playing !
Easy and Difficult are relative to what you are trying to achieve with the given handicap (i.e.No Headset...) ! With a multi-channel soundcard, it's better coz' of the visual interface and the prelisten option ! I see the future with Computer Music !!!
We need a customized system with 2 cd roms so all the fuss about the quality is dissolved too !
Thanks Native Instruments for giving us a Mixer on our computers when we can't afford what the world is raving about !

you can get a visual overview on cdj1000 aswell.. 
anyways, just my opinion... traktor is a farmers tool! |

end of the day where the muzik comes frm dosent matter ....can u create chaos on the floor is wat matterz ...its about knowing your muzik more than any thing ... when u have the rite hardware for traktor...u can do shit tat u cant even think of on cdjs...twist some heads ..totall control over your music ... ....easy to make story...u kno ..i rather focus on my story... than on my pen & paper ...hehe .....i mean if u really want something "tuff" start making your own muzik ...this is jus syncronising 2 traks .. no big deal.....cdjs or traktor they r all easy after a point ...
