if anyone's on msn or aim right now, i need some opinions on a track i'm whipping up. i want tobe sure my percussion is good, and that my sounds match with eachother. it sounds good to me, i just want to know if it's appealing to anyone else's ears, might as well fix it before it gets to out of hand i'm worried that it's going to start sounding a little too busy if i bring anymore samples in...

i got it uploaded, it's "new track" heh, i know it sounds pretty bunched together at the moment. did the bassline turn out ok? other than that stupid slash sound on the break, do the sounds match eachother alright? |

Mate, i'm glad that you have started to try to create the INCREDIBLY difficult style of music that is psytrance in all its shapes and form...
However, you need to work alot on it, don't listen when people tell you to stop making music... but listen to other professional tracks and ask yourself if yours sounds similar.
Remember though that its not just about whether sounds 'sit' right, even though this style of music is extremely technical, you still need to have inspiration and creativity - you only need to listen to Infected Mushroom to see that they have both, and that's why they are so mindblowingly incredible.
Also remember that all creative things are a release of feeling, if you make a track just for the sake of making it then it loses something of what it should have - a kind of deeper meaning so to speak... that is why some artists such as the Growling Mad Scientist, skazi etc. are losing popularity at the moment - they have the technique and a fuck load of it as well... but they are losing their originality and creativity.
Still, practise makes perfect and continue with your music until you feel that it isn't just layered sounds which sound good together, but until its actually a piece of proper music...

frankly speaking ,everything u make at this stage will sound good to ur ears,,keep making more trax,,ull explore more and more varieties and possibilites....not to dishearten u man,,but this should make u "angry" and make u produce better,, 
practice is all u need man,,fuck around with it more,,ull get to the roots,,listen to more trax,,see what ur making and compare,try getting 10% close to it,,,its a long journey,,but only practice can help...
no one is a pro, always rememeber that,,atleast ur giving some time into this
